Drivers Permit or License

When you are ready to pursue your Driver's Permit or License, the state requires a proof of enrollment that is provided by the school. HCA provides this at no cost to our families. You must contact your District Coordinator 1-2 weeks before you will need the form. The form is dated, and you must present it to the DMV at the time of application, so we cannot provide these any earlier than 1-2 weeks before you will take your test. Please remember that it may take up to 48 hours (business days) to process your request, and that it will take 1-2 days for a mailed form to reach you, depending upon your distance from your District Coordinator. Below is also a form for students who have completed a driver's education course. Some insurance companies give discounts to teen driver's who complete driver's education.
